Wiltse, MD, to their prestigious organization with his upcoming publication in The Leading Physicians of the World. Dr. David W. Wiltse is a highly trained and qualified Pulmonologist with an extensive expertise in all facets of his work, especially pulmonology and critical care. He has been in practice for 36 years and is currently serving patients within Group Health TriHealth Physician Partners in Cincinnati, Ohio. He also serves as the Medical Director of Pulmonary Medicine and as a Core Faculty Member for Internal Medicine Residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati.
Dr. Wiltse’s received his Medical Degree from Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut in 1975, served his residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, and completed his pulmonary medicine fellowship at the University of Cincinnati. He then went on to complete his residency and Pulmonary Medicine fellowship at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Wiltse is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Prior to his Medical Degree, Dr. Wiltse obtained his Bachelor Degree in Biology in 1971 from Johns Hopkins University.
Dr. Wiltse keeps up to date with the latest advances and developments in his field by maintaining professional memberships with the American College of Physicians, the American Thoracic Society, the Cincinnati Academy of Medicine, the Ohio State Medical Association. Furthermore, he is a Board Member with the Caring Response Madagascar Foundation in Toamasina, Madagascar, and is also a Board Member of the Bayley Life Retirement Center in Cincinnati.
For his hard work and dedication, Dr. Wiltse is the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions. These include the 2015 Daniel Drake Humanitarian Award, Humanitarian Physician of the Year by Cincinnati Association of Medicine, Top Doctors in Pulmonary Medicine from 1999 to 2015 by Cincinnati Medicine, the Best Faculty Teacher Award at Good Samaritan Hospital, and the Donna West Memorial Volunteer Award in 2010 by the Hospice of Cincinnati. Dr. Wiltse attributes his success to his faith, family, education, and his desire to help others.
