She is a Registered Nurse with 25 years of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing. Elvie is currently serving patients as a Staff Nurse and Charge Nurse within Maimonides Medical Center in New York City.
Elvie attended Chamberlain College of Nursing in Illinois
graduating with her Nursing Degree. An advocate for continuing education, she went on to gain her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 1991 from Andrews University in Michigan.
An inductee of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Elvie maintains a professional membership with the American Nurses Association and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, allowing her to stay current in her field. She attributes her success to her determination, drive to achieve her goals, and faith in God. In her free time, Elvie enjoys reading and listening to jazz music.
