Dr. Kamaraju attended Andhra Medical College in India, graduating with her Medical Degree. Upon relocating to the United States, she completed her psychiatric residency and fellowship at Duke University Medical Center, where she was also on faculty as an Assistant Clinical Professor until June 2010. During her tenure at Duke Medical Center, she was involved in clinical research resulting in several publications. From 1979 to 1982, Dr. Kamaraju worked as International Fogarty Fellow at The National Institute of Health. She is renowned as an expert in Psychosomatic Medicine, which enables her to treat various Psychiatric conditions in medically ill patients as well as patients with chronic pain. In her free time, Dr. Kamaraju enjoys reading, cooking and crafts.
