AMA Tampa Bay announces winners for 2nd Annual Marketer of the Year Awards

Awards ceremony and dinner honored marketing professionals from the Tampa Bay area

2016 Grand Marketer of the Year CiscoThe American Marketing Association Tampa Bay is pleased to release the complete list of winners for the 2nd Annual Marketer of the Year Awards.

Held last Thursday at the Bryan Glazer Family JCC, the event recognized and honored Tampa’s elite marketers, from both brands and agencies, for their excellence and successful measurable results.

Ten Marketer of the Year category winners were honored from an esteemed group of finalists. Winners received stunning blown glass awards custom created by Zen Glass Studios and category finalists received a recognition plaque. From those category winners, the highest scoring campaign was awarded to Cisco as the 2016 Grand Marketer of the Year. Additionally, the Tampa Bay Lightning was inducted into the AMA Tampa Bay Hall of Fame.

Other honorees included the 2016 Educator of the Year, Kerry Walsh from the University of South Florida, and the AMA Volunteer of the Year, Alison Clinton.

Attendees were also treated to the grand reveal of the new AMA national and local chapter branding, which represents a major rebranding initiative for all 70 chapters across the nation to position AMA as the most relevant force and voice shaping marketing around the world.
