Dr. Kodsy graduated with his Medical Degree in 1982 at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University in Giza, Egypt. He subsequently completed an internship within the same educational venue, before undertaking an additional internship at the Kuwait Ministry of Health, and his residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, USA. Dr. Kodsy is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is also certified in Emergency Medicine in Kuwait and Pediatrics in Egypt.
To keep up to date with the latest advances and developments in his field, Dr. Kodsy maintains a professional membership with the American College of Physicians. Additionally, he is the recipient of two awards presented to him by Cairo University and the Kuwait Ministry of Health. He attributes his success to truly loving all aspects of medicine, and when he is not assisting patients, Dr. Kodsy enjoys playing soccer and traveling.
