Jacquelyn Bonafonte is a Registered Nurse and Senior Nurse Case Manager currently serving working within Anthem Blue Cross in Cromwell, Connecticut. Jacquelyn holds over 34 years of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially case management, special needs babies and adults, and working with insurance companies.
Jacquelyn Bonafonte’s career in nursing began in 1981 when she gained her Nursing Diploma from Ona M. Wilcox School of Nursing. An advocate for continuing education, Jacquelyn went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 1996 from St. Joseph College. She holds additional certification in Reiki I and II, and is a Certified Case Manager.
To keep up to date with the latest advances and developments in her challenging field, Jacquelyn maintains a professional membership with the Connecticut Perinatal Association. For her hard work and dedication, she was honored with a Staff of the Month Award. Jacquelyn attributes her success to her hard work, her love for people, teaching both patients and her co-workers, and continuing to evolve. When she is not working, Jacquelyn enjoys spending time with her dogs.
