The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Evelyn Thompson, RN, BSN, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Evelyn Thompson is a Registered Nurse and Diabetes Educator recently retired from New York-Presbyterian Hospital. With over 32 years of experience, she holds an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing.
Evelyn Thompson’s career in nursing began when she graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from LIU Brooklyn. Since graduating Evelyn has undertaken many advanced training courses, and has become a renowned expert in the management of and treatment of diabetes.
Although recently retired, Evelyn still takes a keen interest in diabetes education and is always willing to help and advise people on this subject. She says that her success comes from her love of helping people cope with diabetes and achieve healthier lives. In her free time, Evelyn enjoys crocheting and spending quality time with her family.
