Dr. Subramanian is currently serving patients at the Pembroke Pines – West Office location of Sunrise Medical Group. With over 16 years of experience, she specializes in strokes and neuromuscular diseases. Furthermore, Dr. Subramanian is affiliated with Memorial Regional Hospital, Memorial Hospital West, Memorial Regional Hospital South, Memorial Hospital Miramar, and Westside Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Subramanian received her Medical Degree at Madras Medical College in 1995, followed by her residency in Neurology at Ohio State University. She is board certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and maintains a professional membership with the Florida Medical Association, and the American Academy of Neurology.
Dr. Subramanian is the recipient of the David Kotlarek Award for Excellence and Compassion in Patient Care in 2000. Additionally, Dr. Subramanian teaches as an Associate Professor at Ohio State University and is the Chief of Neurology at Memorial Hospital West. She attributes her success to her training at Ohio State University, and to her co-workers and mentors along the way. When she is not assisting patients, Dr. Subramanian enjoys music, singing, and martial arts.
