Dr. Nancy D. Rivera received her Medical Degree in 1986 from the Meharry Medical College School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. An internship then followed at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Virginia, prior to Dr. Rivera entering private practice.
Dr. Rivera is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, and is additionally a Medical Review Officer. Furthermore, Dr. Rivera maintains professional memberships with the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Home Care Medicine, and the Association of American Physicians. When Dr. Rivera is not assisting patients, she enjoys art and landscaping, as well as reading the American Academy of Family Physicians Journal.
