Madhira, MD, Gastroenterologist, to their prestigious organization with his upcoming publication in The Leading Physicians of the World. He is a highly-trained and qualified gastroenterologist with vast expertise in all facets of his work, especially a variety of endoscopic procedures such as EGD’s, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, and hemorrhoidal banding. Dr. Madhira has been practicing for over 13 years and is currently serving patients at Monroe Gastroenterology Clinic in Monroe, Michigan. He sees all of his out patients at the Monroe Gastroenterology Clinic and performs endoscopic procedures at the Surgical Institute of Monroe. Dr. Madhira is also affiliated with ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital, Oakwood Southshore and St. Anne Hospital.
Dr. Madhira attended Rangaraya Medical College and received his medical degree in 1987. He relocated to the United States and earned his Master Degree in Pharmacology from the University of Toledo. He subsequently completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Wright State University and his fellowship in Gastroenterology at Wayne State University and earned certification in internal medicine and gastroenterology from the American Board of Internal Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Madhira remains a professional member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American College of Gastroenterology and was honored with a Humanitarian Service Award for all of his passionate efforts and achievements by Mercy Hospital from 2011 to 2013. When Dr. Madhira is not serving his patients, he annually heads a free medical screening camp along with offering free colon cancer screenings within his community. He feels that he owes his success to his hard work and family support.
