Mylo NandezWhen he was growing up in south Florida and Colombia, Mylo Nandez worshiped musicians like Michael Jackson and Bon Jovi. Now, at the age of 27, the young musician is wowing audiences and quickly making a name for himself in the Latin music genre.

After studying at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California, Nandez launched his career by singing at some of the most famous venues in the area. After a few years of performing in a traditional rock in roll band, Nandez decided to get back to his Latino roots and embrace a different music genre.

Last year, Nandez released his first single and music video “Rosas Monas” (Blonde Roses) receiving critical acclaim. Following up on his newly found fame, he released “Otro Amor,” which was so successful he launched a tour all over Mexico. While in Mexico, Mylo was interviewed by several news outlets, including T.V Azteca, Televisa, and Canal 8. In addition, Reforma, one of the largest news publications in the country, called him an up and coming performer.

Mylo is not one to stay still for long and shortly after returning from Mexico he began working with acclaimed musicians and producers Lee Levin, Alex Gamboa, Mike Fuller, and Dan Warner.  They have all previously won Latin Grammy Awards and have worked with artists from Enrique Iglesias, Luis Fonsi, and Ricky Martin to Madonna, Cher, Timbaland, Christina Aguilera and many others. The collaboration between Nandez and These producers resulted in a widely admired new single and music video titled “No Te Puedo Olvidar” (I Cannot Forget You). Award winner David Liz directed this latest music video.

After releasing so many successful singles, Nandez is ready to take the next step in his career.

On July 1st, the young singer will release his first self-titled album,“Mylo Nandez”. The album will blend  tropical and urban themes and will be available digitally on ITunes. It will include 6 tracks, whereas the physical CD will include 7 tracks. “I am so excited for the album’s release” Nandez said, “I really think that after the overwhelming love and support I received when I released the past few singles, people will enjoy this album even more.”

For fans that cannot wait until the first of the month for the album, presales will begin on June 24th and fans can sign up on www.mylonandez.com

When Nandez was asked about how he feels about his long musical journey from his childhood as a fan to the big stage as a singer he said “I am just so thankful for the people in my life that have made this all happen. To my fans, I cannot thank you enough. This album is a labor of love that I have made for you. I know that you will enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it.”
