AMA Tampa Bay has landed IKEA’s Mary Lunghi, the retail giant’s market intelligence director, to help shed light on consumer research and enhancing the customer experience for their upcoming event, “IKEA’s Approach to Customer-Centricity.”
Lunghi, who has 29 years of experience in advertising, marketing and strategic planning, will explain to attendees how she uses consumer research to understand customer wants and needs and how consumer insights lay the foundation for strategic planning.
“It’s imperative to collect and analyze data for the purpose of answering specific pre-determined questions and developing actionable insights,” says Lunghi. “Only actionable insights can influence our customer experience.”
Additionally, Lunghi’s presentation will have a large focus on qualitative data and analysis. According to Lunghi, this data in particular allows marketers to understand consumers in greater depth and helps design a superior customer experience.
The luncheon will also explore the different types of consumer research and how each can be incorporated in everything from product development and merchandising, to sales and marketing.
“We’re honored to host a speaker of Mary’s caliber,” said Chris Bush, President of AMA Tampa Bay. “The insights she can provide on consumer research and customer experience will be an invaluable resource to our AMA members and attendees.”
“IKEA’s Approach to Customer-Centricity” will be held at the Centre Club in Tampa, April 21, 2016 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
