Global Village Champions Foundation Christmas in JanuaryIn cooperation with the Boxing Hall of Fame Las Vegas, Global Village Champions Foundation (GVCF), the nonprofit working to knock out hunger and provide humanitarian aid founded by philanthropist Yank Barry and boxing legend Muhammad Ali, jointly announce that former heavyweight champion and Global Village ambassadors Evander Holyfield, along with Barry, will serve 1,000 meals at the Las Vegas Rescue Mission as part of a “Christmas in January” celebration.

Following Christmas and New Year’s, food pantries run short on food due to high demand from the holidays.Boxing Hall of Fame_Las Vegas

As part of the Christmas in January event, GVCF will also donate an additional 25,000 meals to the Las Vegas Rescue Mission. Currently, the Las Vegas Rescue Mission serves 1,000 meals daily.

WHAT: GVCF with the Boxing Hall of Fame Las Vegas will be hosting Christmas in January, where approximately 1,000 will be served a hot meal by GVCF staff and championship boxers.
