Once fierce competitors and bitter rivals, former world champion boxers Evander Holyfield and Mike Tyson are working together to knock out world hunger.
Philanthropist and humanitarian Yank Barry brought these two competitors together to work with his nonprofit organization Global Village Champions Foundation, which Barry founded in 1995 with boxing legend Muhammad Ali. Barry, who also will appear on LARRY KING NOW, has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize each of the last two years.
In 1990, Yank developed Vitapro, a dehydrated soy-based meat-replacement product. While traveling on business, Barry saw desperate living conditions that touched his heart. That’s when he began his journey of donating food to various charities and NGOs in Canada and the U.S.
