The Road Through Wonderland Takes a Detour to Wrigley Heiress’ Home in Odessa, Fla.

Helen A. Rosburg welcomes author of The Road Through Wonderland, Dawn Schiller, to her home to discuss upcoming biography

(PR NewsChannel) / July 30, 2012 / ODESSA, Fla.

Author Dawn Schiller recently visited the home of Wrigley Heiress, Helen A. Rosburg, to discuss the writing of Rosburg’s biography.  Schiller, the author of The Road Through Wonderland, will be authoring Rosburg’s fascinating tale, taking the reader through the wax and wane of Rosburg’s engaging life story. The biography will open a window into Rosburg’s personal life, shedding light on all that has made Rosburg into the amazing woman she is today.

Rosburg has overcome many hurdles including surviving two bouts with breast cancer and a stroke. Growing up Wrigley was no walk in the park either as Rosburg was considered the black sheep of the family for most of her life. She now uses her fortune to help those in need, from mentoring troubled teens to rescuing animals of all kinds.

In 1976, Dawn Schiller met 32-year-old porn star John Holmes, who manipulated her with sex, drugs and alcohol and physically and emotionally abused her for several years. After the famed Wonderland murders in 1981, they fled to Florida, where she ultimately broke free and turned Holmes over to the police. After relocating to the Pacific Northwest, Dawn worked as an associate producer and consultant on the movie “Wonderland” (she was portrayed by actress Kate Bosworth; John Holmes was played by Val Kilmer).

Because of Schiller’s understanding of life’s hardships, Rosburg and Schiller relate to each other and share a rare kinship. The long awaited biography is tentatively set to be released May 2014.
