Through a further extension of their collaboration with Adobe, Datalogics is now licensing and supporting Adobe Reader LE, software that extends PDF functionality to mobile users to view rich, reliable, and more secure PDF content on feature phones running Symbian, Windows Mobile and similar operating systems. Adobe Reader LE now joins the other Adobe technologies available through Datalogics, including Adobe Reader Mobile SDK (RMSDK) for smartphones and tablets, Adobe PDF Library SDK, Adobe PDF Print Engine, Adobe Normalizer, Adobe InDesign® Server, Adobe Content Server and Adobe Digital Publishing Suite.
Adobe Reader LE is a quick and efficient PDF viewer with several powerful features, including text reflow to eliminate the need for left-right scrolling; automatic page rotation horizontally and vertically; and accurate rendering of images, shading, and transparencies. Adobe Reader LE is a complete standalone PDF viewer, packaged and delivered as a fully-customizable source code distribution, enabling licensees to utilize the Adobe branding or customize Reader LE to incorporate additional capabilities or reflect their unique branding.
Datalogics has been selected as the partner for the licensing and support of Adobe Reader LE and the Adobe Reader Mobile SDK technologies. Datalogics currently has licensed RMSDK to over 60 OEM customers worldwide and their support engineers average over 10 years of experience supporting Adobe publishing technologies. Datalogics has recently begun licensing Adobe Reader LE to developers and already has agreements in place with customers.
