GOP Convention Tampa: Planning to promote an issue or event to the media begins

The 2012 GOP Convention in Tampa may be a year away, but already major planning is in the works.

With television networks and an estimated 15,000 journalists expected to attend the GOP Convention in Tampa, local businesses and others will try to gain media attention for their issue or project.  But how?
