Girls Incorporated of Pinellas is now accepting applications for “Crafts in the Park,” a premier showcase for crafters and artisans scheduled for Friday evening March 15th and all day Saturday March 16th in Pinellas Park. Crafts in the Park is part of the larger Country in the Park weekend celebration sponsored by the City of Pinellas Park and the Pinellas Park/Gateway Chamber of Commerce.
Crafts in the Park has been called “one of the best crafts shows in the South,” and crafters from all over Florida and as far away as New York appreciate the special touch Girls Incorporated gives to this fun event. Attendance records in recent years have topped 20,000.
Space is available for 125 crafters. Vendor spaces are 10’ x10’ and are $50 for Saturday. Vendors have the option of setting up Friday afternoon and selling on Friday evening March 15th during the wildly popular Chili Blaze Cook–Off sponsored by Pinellas Park Firefighters. The vendor fee for selling Friday evening is $25. The fee is $75 for both Friday and Saturday. Limited electricity is available for a nominal fee.
Vendor registration fees benefit Girls Incorporated of Pinellas, a non-profit youth development organization in Pinellas County which operates an empowerment-based after school program and a full time summer day camp for girls ages 5-17.
