Emerge Tampa Bay will host the first-ever Emerging with Influence event on Thursday, Nov. 29, recognizing young professionals in the Tampa Bay community and welcoming the organization’s 2013 leadership team.

Emerging with Influence, presented by SunTrust and Tampa Steel Erecting Co., will take place at Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo beginning at 5:45p.m. and will include a reception, dinner and keynote speaker and bestselling author Simon T. Bailey, who was voted best keynote speaker by the readers of “Meetings and Conventions Magazine”.

The first 200 registrants will receive a free copy of Simon T. Bailey’s book, “The Vujá dé Moment”. Additionally, every attendee will be entered for a chance to win a “Day at the Zoo” prize pack, as well as a chance to win an autographed baseball by Tampa Bay Rays star Evan Longoria and other Tampa Bay Rays memorabilia.

A highlight of the program will be the presentation of the inaugural Deanne Dewey Roberts Award to an outstanding young professional for their service and dedication to the Tampa Bay business community. The annual award’s namesake Deanne Roberts was the co-founder of Emerge Tampa Bay and founder of ChappellRoberts, which is also the Founding Sponsor of Emerging with Influence.

“We’re excited to be able to recognize the young leaders of this community, all while remembering the legacy of Deanne Roberts and the impact she made on the business community and in the lives of so many people,” said Chairman of Emerge Tampa Bay Andrew Smith.

Admission is $45 and a Corporate Table (seating eight) is $500. Those interested can register at the Emerging with Influence event page. Social media users can follow the conversation leading up to the event using #Emerging2012, or by following @EmergeTampaBay on Twitter.
