Chicago-based Datalogics, the premier source for Adobe PDF developer technologies, today announced enhanced precision capabilities in its Adobe PDF Library distribution. These new capabilities enable the Adobe PDF Library to be used in applications that require precise measurements, including architecture/engineering/construction (AEC) and large-format printing.
The Adobe PDF Library is the core functionality of Adobe Acrobat, developed by Adobe Systems, packaged as a developer toolkit and available through Datalogics. This latest release, v10.0.1, includes significant internal architectural updates to allow for greater precision object placement, as well as for PDF object placement into much larger pages, and improvements in Multithreaded Workflow Stability. This update also adds DLE to the Linux x86-32 and Solaris SPARC-32 releases. As usual, this version is available to all PDF Library customers through their existing support and maintenance agreements.
The Adobe PDF Library is available on a wide variety of platforms, including Windows (32- and 64-bit), MacOS, Linux (32- and 64-bit), AIX (32- and 64-bit), Solaris Sparc (32-bit), and Solaris Intel (64-bit).
