TELEMUNDO presents the fourth and final fight of its “Boxeo Telemundo Ford” summer season, pitting fellow Mexicans Alejandro “Payasito” Hernandez and Humberto “Chato” Morales in a 12-round bout for Mexico’s National Super Bantamweight title, to be telecast from the Blackberry Auditorium in Mexico City. Acclaimed ringside sportscaster René Giraldo will narrate the punch-by-punch action, accompanied by veteran Edgar Lopez who will provide the night’s commentary.

Alejandro Hernandez (29-11, 15KO) fought his only 2015 fight last March, defeating Martin “Pini” Casillas in a 10th-round Decision, winning the World Boxing Council’s Latin Bantamweight crown. Hernandez ranks number 9 in the WBO bantamweight classification. 2014 was a very productive year for “Payasito” because he won three titles: Mexico Bantamweight after defeating Isao Carranza by Decision in the 12th round, WBO Intercontinental Bantamweight by beating Filipino Marvin Marbait by KO in the fifth, and the WBO Interim Bantamweight title after triumphing over Daniel “Bad Boy” Rosas by Decision after 12 rounds.
Humberto Morales (14-11-4, 8KO) has fought only once this year, coming up against Edgar “Power” Jimenez, number 8 in the WBC standings, with whom he fought to a draw after 10 intense rounds. “Chato” Morales, former junior world champion, remains undefeated after six consecutive bouts.
“Boxeo Telemundo Ford” will return to TELEMUNDO for its fall season opener on October 2.
