“Just like many trade publications sound wonky and women’s magazines sound feminine, Daddyhood.net articles are being written with a dad’s point-of-view in mind,” says Glenn Selig, publisher of Daddyhood.net, and president/CEO of Selig Multimedia, Inc. “We’ll be tackling stories like no one else is doing and I am very excited about the upcoming launch.”

Selig says Daddyhood.net is providing stories on the U.C. Santa Barbara shooting, but focusing on the grieving dad, Richard Martinez, whose 20 year old son was shot and killed.

Daddyhood is also working a story about  a son who really made his dad’s day at a baseball game and what dads really want for Father’s Day.

“This is new territory and we’re in the story-telling business. We’re focusing on stories that hit home for dads,” says Selig.

The online magazine for fathers will feature sections on parenting, family, fun, finance, news, sports and tech. It will contain articles, videos and photos and will include social media elements. Daddyhood.net is for all dads—new, divorced, single, traditional, gay or step.
