logoAttorney Douglas G. Christy was selected as one of four for a fellowship with the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law (RPPTL) Section Fellowship Program of the Florida Bar.

Tampa law firm Wetherington Hamilton P.A. is pleased to announce that Attorney Douglas G. Christy has been awarded one of the four prestigious fellowships annually offered by the RPPTL Section of the Florida Bar. The fellowship is provided for a two-year term with the expectation that each fellow will complete a work project during their fellowship. The RPPTL Section has over 50 active committees, multiple of which Christy will be involved in, and an Executive Council with more than 225 active members.

Christy was admitted in 2009 and has been focused on community association representation, construction, general civil litigation, and real estate law since he graduated from Florida State University College of Law in 2005 with his Juris Doctor. He received his undergraduate degree in 2000 from New College of Florida.

Becoming a Fellow with the RPPTL Section will contribute Christy’s growing understanding of Real Property, Probate and Trust Law. His involvement in the fellowship program will also allow him the opportunity to contribute to the Tampa Bay area community.

Wetherington Hamilton has been established since 1996, but recently recreated themselves in 2012 after changing their name from the original “Wetherington Hamilton Harrison” and expanding into different fields of practice, such as, litigation, estate planning and probate, and debt and collections. This up and coming law firm is located in downtown Tampa serving all of southwest, central, and north Florida.
