Dr. Gharbaoui is a highly-trained and qualified radiologist with a vast expertise in all facets of her work. She has been in practice for more than 28 years and is currently serving patients as a Diagnostic Radiologist at the University of Texas Health Science Center. She is also affiliated with Memorial Hermann Hospital.
Dr. Gharbaoui gained her Doctor of Medicine degree at the Mohammed V University of Medicine, in Rabat, Morocco, in 1988. She continued with an internship focusing on diagnostic radiology and medical imaging followed at Henri Poincare University in Nancy, France. Residencies followed in Morocco and France, along with a fellowship gained in France, before Dr. Gharbaoui entered practice in the United States of America.
Alongside her busy practice, Dr. Gharbaoui serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Medical School, and is regarded as one of Houston’s foremost experts in musculoskeletal and body radiodiagnostic solutions. Dr. Gharbaoui maintains professional memberships with many professional organizations, including the American College of Medicine and the Texas Radiological Society, and is an in demand public speaker. She attributes her success to her dedication to providing outstanding patient care, and her passion for radiology. When not working, Dr. Gharbaoui enjoys traveling.
