Dr. Searing attended NOVA Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine where he received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 2008. He then went on to complete his Internal Medicine residency along with his Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at Botsford Hospital. Dr. Searing holds board certification in Cardiology and Internal Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Cardiology, in Nuclear Cardiology by the Certification Board for Nuclear Cardiology, and in Echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography.
A Clinical Professor at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Searing keeps current in the field of cardiology through his professional memberships with the American College of Cardiology, the American Society of Echocardiography, and the American College of Osteopathic Internists. Additionally, he was honored with a Humanitarian Award by the American College of Cardiology in 2016. Dr. Searing focuses on open communication and individualized care, and treats his patients as he would want to be treated. He attributes his success to being personable and treating people like family. When he is not working, Dr. Searing enjoys spending time with his children.
