The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts loves to treat its members like stars and the 16th Annual Members Show is their chance to shine. The museum is accepting submissions via its website http://fmopa.org through July 24, 2016. Categories include Abstract, Portraiture/People, Landscape/Cityscape/Drone Photography, Still Life, and Digital Submission.
Members’ work will be installed in the Community Gallery and winners will be announced at the Opening Reception on Friday, August 5, 2016 from 6-8 p.m.
“We are thrilled to shine a spotlight on our talented members through the Annual Members Show,” says FMoPA’s Executive Director Zora Carrier.
The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts is one of fewer than ten museums in the United States dedicated exclusively to photography and one of two such museums in the state of Florida. FMoPA seeks to enrich the lives of the citizens of the Tampa Bay area by providing rare, specialized access to the wonders of photography not only as an aesthetic form but also as a multi-faceted historical and contemporary document of our world through exhibitions, education, outreach programs, and local collaborations.
Admission is free for members and students. Admission for not-yet members: $10.00
