PR NewsChannel) / December 20, 2007 / Anaheim, Calif. - The ongoing "Year of a Million Dreams" celebration at Disneyland Resort will bring the dream teams of the 2008 Rose Bowl Game presented by Citi, to Disneyland on the day after Christmas. Mickey Mouse, the Disneyland Band and an enthusiastic crowd of football fans will welcome the two squads and their coaches when the teams make their first official appearance of the Rose Bowl season at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 26.

Illinois Fighting Illini Coach Ron Zook, USC Trojans Coach Pete Carroll and members of both teams will appear in a ceremony in front of the holiday "Sleeping Beauty's Winter Castle" and will be available for interviews afterwards.  The 94th Rose Bowl Game will mark Illinois' return to the contest for the first time since 1983. Featured USC players will include Quarterback John David Booty, Defensive End Lawrence Jackson, Linebacker Keith Rivers and Offensive Tackle Sam Baker.

Following the ceremony, coaches and players will do media interviews in front of the Castle and will visit such popular Disneyland attractions as Matterhorn Bobsleds.

Disneyland has been associated with the Tournament of Roses since 1959 and has had the honor of hosting many teams during that time. This year's team visits coincide with the "Year of a Million Dreams," which will continue throughout 2008 at Disney Parks in the United States. Disneyland Resort is celebrating dreams coming true, making literally millions of dreams, large and small, come true for eligible guests. A Disneyland highlight, beginning January 31, 2008, will be the debut of the Disneyland Dream Suite. Originally designed by and for Walt Disney himself, the Disneyland Dream Suite will provide randomly selected Disneyland Resort guests with a luxurious overnight stay inside Disneyland.

The Illini (9-3 overall) and the Trojans (10-2 overall) will meet in the 94th Rose Bowl Game played in Pasadena on Tuesday, January 1, 2008.
