Dr. Reema Maindiratta graduated with her Medical Degree in 1991 from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. An internship then followed at New York University, before a Neurology residency was completed at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Maindiratta remained at the Montefiore Medical Center to complete a fellowship in Neuromuscular Disorders.
Dr. Maindiratta is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and by the American Board of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, and is an expert in neuromuscular disorders and injury and damage to the nervous system. Additionally, she is an experienced public speaker who has had book chapters published, and is also involved in a number of philanthropic ventures. Dr. Maindiratta maintains professional memberships with the American Neurology Association, the American Pain Association, and the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She attributes her success to the support she has always had from mentors and family members. When she is not working, Dr. Maindiratta enjoys traveling and cooking, as well as reading and writing poetry.
