Dr. Bachuri attended the Baghdad University School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1989. He then went on to complete his residency in general dentistry at Baghdad Hospital. Following his residency training, Dr. Bachuri was a general dentist in the military until 1992, performed general dentistry at Al Hatra Hospital until 1993, and worked as a general dentist in a private practice in Iraq and Jordan until 1998. Upon relocating to the United States, Dr. Bachuri attended Tufts University School of Dentistry, where he received his Dental Medicine Doctorate in 2002.
In order to stay current in the new developments, guidelines, and procedures in his field, Dr. Bachuri maintains professional memberships with the Academy of Laser Dentistry, the International Association for Humanitarian Medicine, the Michigan Dental Association, the American Orthodontic Society, the International Association for Orthodontics, and the Oakland County Dental Society. Furthermore, Dr. Bachuri has extensive training in oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, laser treatment, implant dentistry, periodontics, as well as restorative and preventive dentistry. Dr. Bachuri is certified by the American Board of Oral Implantology and the Academy of Laser Dentistry, and attributes his success to his hard work, commitment, dedication, and passion.
