With an upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare, Sherry M. Roy, RN, BSN, LNC, joins the prestigious ranks of the International Nurses Association. Sherry is a registered nurse with ten years of experience in her field and has extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially nursing instruction, emergency room nursing, cardiovascular care, medical/surgical nursing, legal nursing, and occupational health. Sherry currently teaches at Kaplan University and provides instruction to student nurses at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine.
Sherry received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2010 from Athabasca University. She is currently enrolled in the Master of Science in Nursing program, with an Executive Leader concentration, at Kaplan University School of Nursing, and is expected to graduate in November 2016. Sherry maintains professional memberships with the American Nurses Association, National Nurses United and the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants. Additionally, she is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Sherry attributes her success to her good educational foundation, determination and previous experience as paramedic, which led to her decision to become a nurse. She aspires to make a difference in people’s lives, and make the most out of every day. When she is not working, Sherry enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
