Dr. Milau has been practicing for over 16 years and is currently serving patients at her private practice, Secrets of Vibrational Medicine, in New York City, New York.
Dr. Milau attended New York Medical College and received her medical degree in 1995. She then completed further psychiatric training at Mount Sinai Hospital from 1996-2000. She also trained at Columbia University, where she was a fellow in the Public Psychiatry program. In addition, she has an ongoing interest in alternative medical therapies. She is certified by New York Milton H. Erickson Society for Psychotherapy and Hypnosis and has since been successfully incorporating this unique form of hypnotherapy into her private practice since 2001. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Milau additionally maintains active memberships with several professional societies, such as the New York State Psychiatric Association, the American Medical Women’s Association, the New York Milton H. Erickson Society for Psychotherapy and Hypnosis, and the American Medical Association.
She is currently offering workshops in Meridian Tapping at the Satori Wellness Center in NYC. Dr. Milau is also a supporting member of Environment New York, which is currently involved in saving our dwindling bee populations. She feels that having had a liberal-arts education before her medical school education has given her a very broad viewpoint, enabling her to adapt to the particular needs of her patients. Dr. Milau also credits her success to coming from a somewhat unusual background, being particularly sensitive to the needs and struggles of women in today’s world, and going through a variety of experiences herself. In her spare time, she enjoys reading biographies, gardening, and music.
