Skilled Nurse Sonia Jones, RN, NUM, is to be recognized for her outstanding achievements in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare

With an upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare, Sonia Jones, RN, NUM, joins the prestigious ranks of the International Nurses Association. She is a Registered Nurse with twenty-two years of experience in her field and extensive expertise in all facets of nursing. Sonia is currently serving patients as Acting Nurse Manager of Medical Services and Operations at Western Sydney Local Health District/Blacktown Hospital in Blacktown, New South Wales, Australia. She is responsible for medical wards, emergency department, ambulatory care, medical assessment unit, oncology, imaging, angiogram catheter lab, stroke/rehabilitation ward and patient discharge unit.

Sonia attended the University of Technology, Sydney, and received her Bachelor of Applied Science degree in nursing in 1994. In 2004, she obtained her Master of Business Administration at the University of Western Sydney. Sonia was WSLHD Quality Award Winner starting 2013. She remains an active member of the Australian Nursing & Midwifery Federation and the Gastroenterological Nurses College of Australia.
