"Shaping the Future" by Ismail Rifaat

“Shaping the Future for the People by the People: What to do now!” (ISBN 146644665X), a public affairs treatise by Ismail Rifaat, is a call to action for concerned readers to better understand current negative economic and political conditions and act to rectify them before it is too late.

Building on the themes explored in his last book, 2009’s “Planning for Survival,” Rifaat presents the facts contributing to the growing displeasure of Americans and resulting in action such as the Occupy Wall Street movement. He addresses a wide range of topics in a comprehensive but concise exploration of recent events and argues forcefully that the inalienable rights of life, liberty and pursuit of happiness have been broadly usurped.

“Those who revolt often express their outrage without being prepared to express their demands for action or arguments needed to convince others,” says Rifaat. “This book attempts to lend a hand in this respect.”

At a time when so many are angry but unable to make clear demands for change, Rifaat presents a plan of action for ordinary citizens and those in positions of power to address the current catastrophe. Written to engage, educate and inspire action, the book is targeted at a broad range of readers, particularly those disaffected by current economic and political conditions.

“Shaping the Future for the People by the People: What to do now!” is available for sale online at Amazon.com and other channels.
