LOS ANGELES / Los Angeles is joining a group of cities from around the country to raise critically needed awareness and funding for brain tumors, a disease that affects more than 200,000 each year in the United States. Moving Towards A Cure® Los Angeles is one of 10 walks that take place throughout the year to raise brain tumor awareness and funds.
The 5K walk in Los Angeles will take place on Sunday, March 13 at Woodley Avenue Park in Van Nuys. Participants can register online (http://www.BrainTumorEvents.org/LosAngeles) or the day of the event, starting at 8 a.m. The registration fee is $25 for the 5K or for the one mile fun run.
