LOS ANGELES / Audrina Patridge. Paris Hilton. Angelina Jolie. West Coast fashion boutique 310 Couture has outfitted them all in vintage T-shirts, designer accessories and couture gowns. Now the specialty shop announces an expansion from its notorious area code digs to global territory.
With a planned opening in Orange County in July, 310 provides Hollywood glamour with a touch of the Midwest. It caters to the fashion-forward and fashion-savvy. Each boutique will boast a uniform look, featuring cowhide furnishings, big beautiful crystal chandeliers, floor-to-ceiling gold mirrors and a 100-inch LED flatscreen that plays couture runway shows.
Fashion connoisseur Monica Hawk-Becker founded the company in 2005. 310 will carry unique pieces from Milan, New York, Los Angeles and Italy. 310 holds a reputation for carrying designer labels. 310 Orange County will be carrying jeans by Genetic Denim, Gucci, Victoria Beckham, Notify, J Brand, Acne and Goldsign. Maxi dresses by Tibi, Malene Birger, Preen Line, Nevenka, Lotta Stenson. 310 Couture will carry vintage Gucci and Christian Dior to red carpet-worthy Elie Saab and Vintage Halstrom couture gowns. 310 offers one-on-one consultations. Those shopping are invited to enjoy a glass of Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc.
310 will exclusively carry Tres Glam jewelry by mother-daughter duo Lisa and Brittny Gastineau. Tres Glam is worn by the likes of Kim Kardashian, Lindsay Lohan, Naomi Campbell and Kelly Osbourne. Those who have followed this year’s NY Fashion Week have probably noticed the great jewelry designed by Tres Glam. It features a great line of fine and costume jewelry, including evil eye pendants and rings, gem earrings and elaborate nature-style cocktail rings. More on the Tres Glam line can be found at www.tresglam.com.
Hawk-Becker and her team at 310 will also carry celebrity swimsuit designer Susan Holmes' line.
Former supermodel Susan Holmes was named Swimwear Designer of the Year at the Michael Awards in New York City. Now a top designer, Holmes created her line 10 years ago, and describes it as swimwear that “exudes charm with rock 'n' roll inspiration.” She credits her husband--legendary rocker Duff McKagan, formerly of Guns N’ Roses, and bassist for Grammy Award-winning Velvet Revolver--as an integral part of her creative designs. Holmes enjoys is being able to contribute more than 10 percent after net proceeds to charities, including Project Angel Food, Surfrider Foundation and the Red Cross.
Susan Holmes Swimwear is worn worldwide by celebrities such as Kate Hudson, Venus Williams, Elle Macpherson, Stella McCartney, Heidi Klum, Keira Chaplin and Anna Kournikova. Holmes' designs can be found on her website, www.susanholmes.net.
310's opening fashion show will be filmed by VH1 and Sociopathic Media/Candle Light Digital TV.
