CHICAGO / Rod Blagojevich, the former governor if Illinois, released the following statement on reports that fellow NBC 'Celebrity Apprentice' cast member Bret Michaels is in critical condition after suffering brain hemorrhage:
"I got to know Bret Michaels while I was a contestant on 'Celebrity Apprentice.' I really liked him. He is a very genuine guy who worked hard and I learned how truly committed he is to fighting juvenile diabetes--the same cause he competed to raise money for on the show. My prayers are with Bret and for his full and speedy recovery."
