(PRNewsChannel) / San Antonio, Texas / Already an innovator in reducing the size of landfills by up to 97%, the ReCyclone technology created by Powermaster is now tackling chicken poop in an unorthodox way. And it’s all part of a turn-key solution that allows feces to be converted to a reusable, environmentally-friendly fertilizer.
“This is already happening at farms and agricultural businesses in South America and Europe with our technology,” says Lila York of Powermaster Environmental Group. “It’s a very clean and simple way to get the end product much, much faster and could be used on any farm or agri-business in the United States.”
The ReCyclone technology substantially increases the airflow and speeds the drying process, while, at the same time, reducing harmful bacteria by 98%.
“Composting is usually a 90-120 day process to prepare the product and have it ready to use or go to market, but we’ve done it in just 10 days,” says York.
To the average farmer, the fertilizer can then be used directly on the land or it can be sold on the open market.
Another benefit of the Powermaster Corporation invention is how it helps meet protective practices, commonly referred to as “best management practices (BMP).”
Animal waste provides nitrogen in a variety of organic applications. Animal waste includes livestock and poultry manure, bedding and litter, plus such things as dairy parlor waste water, feedlot runoff and even wasted feed. These wastes can affect water quality if proper practices are not followed. The ReCyclone technology ensures the BMPs are followed, all while creating a fertilizer and compost in record time.
Animal waste can be a valuable resource which, when managed properly, can reduce the need for commercial fertilizer. Such waste can also add organic matter which improves water holding capacity and improves soil tilth. Animal waste can provide an economical source of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium as well as other nutrients needed for plant growth.
