(PRNewsChannel) / Las Vegas, Nev. / Las Vegas-based kama Energy Efficient Building Systems (kama-EEBS™) is featured this month in two major publications concentrating on the future of residential and commercial construction in the ‘green’ building industry.
The company can be found under the ‘New & Notable’ section of Environmental Design and Construction magazine. The section refers to kama-EEBS™ for reaching peak energy efficiency and 100% recyclability. The kama-EEBS™ panels can be used for any wall, floor or roof system and are designed to reduce overall construction costs as they eliminate construction site waste and the need for a crane or forklift.
Environmental Design and Construction magazine focuses on the green building industry covering topics like energy efficiency, alternative and renewable energy sources, indoor air quality and life cycle assessment. It targets architects, interior designers, facility managers, engineers, contractors, and building owners.
Also this month, Options 2008 magazine highlighted kama-EEBS™ Panels. Options is Canada’s first national magazine for renewable energy options and the writers selected kama-EEBS™ to be included in the “Tools of the Trade” section. The magazine made note of how kama-EEBS™ is reducing pollution with a green-friendly approach to building.
“All of this attention really shows us that members of the media are starting to acknowledge what we’ve known for awhile now,” says Ken Miller, director of kama-EEBS. “We are on the leading edge of the green-building community. We’re dedicated to making a product that is going to change the way building is done in the future.”
The kama-EEBS panels are light gauge metal stud insulated framing with a proprietary design that eliminates thermal bridging so they perform at peak energy efficiency on both residential and commercial structures.
The company recently received an endorsement from Dr. Robert Fielden, a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects (FAIA), and Principal of architectural firm Rafi-Nevada, for its newest green-friendly structural insulated building panels, kama-EEBS Wall Panel™ and kama-EEBS Structural Roof and Floor Panel™. Dr. Fielden referred to the panels as “one of the greenest innovations yet.”
kama-EEBS™ Panels are available worldwide with manufacturing facilities in Nevada and Rhode Island.
kama-EEBS is represented by The Publicity Agency.
