Kol Ami Congregation in Tampa Welcomes Newcomers for High Holiday Services

(PRNewsChannel) / Tampa, Fla. / For families in the Tampa area searching for a family-oriented, welcoming and warm congregation to experience high holiday services, Congregation Kol Ami is making room, the North Tampa-based Conservative synagogue said today.

Rosh Hashana begins Monday evening, Sept. 29.  And Congregation Kol Ami, the Conservative Jewish congregation in Northwest Hillsborough County serving families in the Tampa Bay Area, begins observances that night.

"Our congregation is like a big family," says Dr. Mark Jaffe, president of Kol Ami.  "We welcome new members with open arms and the spirit is alive at our synagague because we have congregants from so many different age groups and walks of life."

Kol Ami Congregation is housed in a large, up-to-date building that also hosts a religious school for youngsters and Torah University, the religious classes for adults.  The synagogue also has a very active Men's Club and Sisterhood and offers special children and parenting programs.

The Temple, located near Fletcher and Dale Mabry in Tampa, recently welcomed Rabbi Raphael Ostrovsky.  He's energetic, experienced and warm. 

For the high holiday services, the Conservative congregation in Tampa offers prayer services morning, afternoon and night. Services will be lead by Rabbi Ostrovsky and Hazzan Jodi Sered-Lever.
