Miley Cyrus Signs International Book Deal with Disney Book Group
International superstar and star of the Disney series Hannah Montana, Miley Cirus to reveal the inspiring story of relationship with her mother.

(PRNewsChannel) / New York, NY - Disney Book Group has acquired world rights to the first ever book from teen superstar Miley Cyrus, star of the international hit Disney Channel series "Hannah Montana."
Miley will share her inspiring story, spanning from her Southern roots in Tennessee to the excitement of her record-setting triumphs in TV, music and film. Notably, Miley will reveal how her solid relationship with her family, especially her mother Leticia, helps her navigate the spotlight and encourages her to contribute and connect to the world in a variety of ways and grow up happy and well-rounded. The announcement was made today by Jeanne Mosure, senior vice president, global publisher, Disney Book Group.
The book, featuring never-before-seen photos, family stories, and a look at her inner circle of loved ones, will be published in early spring 2009.

The book deal was negotiated by Jonathan Yaged, vice president, North America publisher, Disney Book Group and will be published under the Disney-Hyperion Books imprint. Yaged added: "We are thrilled to work with Miley and are excited about giving her fans another reason to fall in love with her."
Miley Cyrus stars in the hit Disney Channel series "Hannah Montana," reaching over 164 million unique total viewers worldwide and ranking for two consecutive years as the #1 series among kids 6-14 on U.S. cable TV. Cyrus has multiple projects at The Walt Disney Company spanning TV, Music, Consumer Products and Studio divisions. Her #1 ranking "Hannah Montana" and Miley Cyrus debut soundtracks have combined sales of over 8 million CDs to-date.
