Teachers On Call, an educational support services company based in Richmond, is holding an informational open house on Thursday, March 27th for parents and support personnel to discuss programs that will be offered over the summer.

Teachers On Call is a full service educational center with special education tutors, speech therapists, occupational therapists and advocates who are all experienced educators in the school system.  Each has a minimum of three years experience working with children ages 3 to 21.

In addition to the current one-on-one support available only through Teachers On Call, the staff is looking to add summer programs based completely on parents' requests and support personnel recommendations.

Summer programs are expected to address the need for: supplemental services not received by the county for the summer; socialization and group dynamic; preparation for the upcoming academic school year and active play.

Any interested parent, educator, or persons involved in the area of special needs are encouraged to come, meet the staff and help identify key programs for summer.
