Madison Media Institute Chair Receives 2007 Telly Award
Nelly Citino named recipient of the Silver and Bronze 2007 Telly Award for Videography / Cinematography, Editing and Theme.

(PRNewsChannel) / Madison, Wis. - Madison Media Institute, College of Media Arts (MMI) in Madison, Wis., is proud to announce that Video Department chairperson, Nelly Citino, was recently awarded the Silver and Bronze 2007 Telly Awards for Videography/Cinematography, Editing and Theme for her production and editing of MMI’s recent graduation ceremony video.
Nella Citino is a media veteran and has gained years of experience as a producer, director, writer and editor. She is currently chair of the Department of Visual Arts at Madison Media Institute and a video instructor. While her broadcast work has gained national recognition from the Emmys to Parents' Choice awards, Nella's experience and training includes print and web development and design. She is also a member of the task force of Film Wisconsin, a non-profit organization dedicated to attracting the film industry to Wisconsin. Since it is a practice of the Telly Awards to solicit previous award winners to become future judges of the competition, Nella may be invited to become a judge in the future.
The Telly Awards honor the very best local, regional, and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions, and work created for the Internet.
The Telly Awards were founded in 1978 by David E. Carter, a past Emmy and Clio award winner who has written several books on corporate branding and design. Their mission is to strengthen the visual arts community by inspiring, promoting, and supporting creativity. Each entry is judged on its own merit, rather than against other entries.The 28th Annual Telly Awards received over 14,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 continents.
