(PRNewsChannel) / Nashville, Tenn. — During a campaign stop in Tennessee, presidential candidate Hillary Clinton pledged to push for the release of government records, including the CIA files on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
“We should be putting as much government information out as possible,” said Clinton. “You all deserve to know what your government has done and is doing. This may be a little radical, but I’ve even suggested that we have bloggers inside government agencies so that people get real-time information about what’s going on.”
Her comments, broadcast on C-SPAN, came on Saturday in response to a question from the Town Hall audience regarding information made public in President Gerald R. Ford’s final book, “President John F. Kennedy: Assassination Report of the Warren Commission.” The book, published by FlatSigned Press, Inc. two years before President Ford’s death, has become the focus of a recent lawsuit against radio shock jock Don Imus and his broadcasting company, for defamatory and derogatory comments Imus made about the book and its publisher.
“Ford left us his thoughts on the assassination of JFK, the destruction and concealment of important FBI and CIA documents pertaining to the assassination, and other issues spanning the decades since, yet the contents of those files are still a closely held secret,” says FlatSigned Press, Inc. Chairman of the Board Tim Miller. “As Hillary Clinton has pledged to seek full disclosure of such documents, I call for all candidates for president to make the same pledge to release the CIA, FBI and other files pertaining to the assassination of JFK so that the American people may finally know all that their government knows about the assassination of JFK.”
