NEW YORK CITY / You usually see actors, musicians and the occasional athlete on ‘The Late Show with David Letterman,’ but last night the late night talk show host invited the 'Rocky Mountain Rambo' to come share his story. Gary Faulkner, the man who traveled to Pakistan to hunt down Osama Bin Laden appeared on the show.
Letterman asked Faulkner how many times he has been to Pakistan. “Well, the airlines have me at about seven times,” he said. “I tried to go two times by boat, but got sick of the hurricanes and storms. So I sold the boat and bought a plane ticket.”
When asked if there are a lot of bounty hunters or mercenaries searching for Bin Laden, Faulkner joked, “You go hike in the Himalayas and try to find him. In two weeks of hiking, I found two snakes, two lizards and I smelled a skunk. I think it was Osama Bin Laden, but I can’t be sure.”
