Chicago,
Ill. / The national law firm of KamberEdelson, LLC (http://www.kamberedelson.com) announced today that it has added former Florida Assistant Attorney General William “Will” Haselden to its growing practice.
While at the Florida Attorney General's office based in Tallahassee, Haselden served as Section Chief of the CyberFraud Section, which he helped found. There he spearheaded investigations into the mobile content industry leading to settlements with major wireless carriers, content providers, and billing aggregators related to the industry-wide practice of
charging consumers for services they did not authorize.
As part of this initiative, Haselden developed and implemented an industry-leading disclosure model for all advertisers of mobile content while also obtaining significant restitution for
Florida consumers victimized by deceptive practices. His most notable settlements include those involving Google (NASDAQ:GOOG), AT&T Mobility, and Verizon Wireless (NYSE:VZ).
Haselden, who will be joining the firm as a partner, will spend the first several months working out of the firm’s central office in Chicago, before starting the firm's
Florida office in Tallahassee, the state capital.
“We have gotten to know Will very well while he was fighting for consumers at the
Attorney General’s office and could not be more pleased that he has chosen to
come to our firm,” said Jay Edelson, co-founder of KamberEdelson. “Will’s passion for the law and his
impressive background makes him a terrific addition to our team.”

KamberEdelson also announced the hiring of Evan Meyers, who will join the Chicago office as Senior Counsel. Meyers, a
2002 cum laude graduate of the University of Illinois College of Law, comes to the firm from Drinker Biddle &
Reath L.L.P., a 700 attorney firm with offices in 12 cities. Meyers has a wide range of experience in
all aspects of commercial litigation including class actions, environmental disputes and issues pertaining specifically to the internet.
KamberEdelson, which began as a merger of two firms in 2007, has experienced rapid growth
despite a tough economic climate. In just two years it has grown from just 6 attorneys to 15. It plans to add another five attorneys
by the end of the year.
