“Our product is cool, sexy, and easy to wear,” says De Bucourt, who now lives in New York City. “The Gladiator Line is unique because you can wear it basically with anything, and at any event. You will look glamorous either way.”
The Gladiator Top can be worn with jeans or a skirt. It’s a stretch cotton jersey, comfortable and sexy with metallic stud embroidery in front and back.
“Heidi Klum got the same top in two different colors,” says De Bucourt.
De Bucourt says she’s most creative when working with hand-painted fabrics and embroidery. She says she honed those skills while studying at FIT, the Fashion Institute of Technology.
Her sense of style is influenced by music and dance. De Bucourt's dresses feature romantic layers with raw edge chiffon and tulle. She pairs many of her skirts with sexy corset tops that feature puzzle motifs, lacing or tie-die appeal.
In general, her clothing line has a distinct flair because it beautifully blends elegance with playfulness.
