(PRNewsChannel) / East Hampstead, N.H. – Physical therapists are being welcomed by IADMD, the new medical organization fighting for radical health care reform.
The International Assoc. of Dental and Medical Disciplines' founders and directors are dentists and physicians including board specialists and heads of private practice for more than 20 years.
Their health care plan calls for doctors and health care professionals to work together to provide the best possible care for patients—and that includes physical therapists.
“Physical therapists are a part of many people's lives,” says Dr. John J. Ryan, D.M.D., the medical organization founder, CEO and president. “We want to include all health care providers in our organization because only by working together can we provide the best care to patients.”
Physical therapists, often called PT's, are health care professionals who evaluate and manage health conditions for people of all ages. Individuals consult a PT to manage medical problems or other health-related conditions that cause pain, limit their ability to move or complete activities. A physical therapists’ view of the body and its movement needs is often central to determining a diagnosis and an intervention strategy.
Some physical therapists have Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degrees; all PT's must have a graduate degree from an accredited physical therapy program before taking the national licensing examination.
"Physical therapists see patients and heal patients and are often in private practice," says Dr. Ryan. "They must be included in an organization that’s pushing for a whole body approach to medicine.”
FREE Web site Offer
IADMD launched a major campaign to link all medical providers to the Internet. As a FREE perk with membership, IADMD will create, host and help customize a state-of-the-art Web site valued at up to $5.000. Membership runs $1,899 for the year.
Last month, IADMD unveiled a new health care plan, that without adding taxes or burdens on employers or taxpayers, secures every person’s right to the highest quality care and puts control of medicine back into the hands of doctors.
“The nation needs a new health care plan to take back the reins and put responsibility into the hands of the only ones that can really fix the health care problem: unbiased doctors who are unwaveringly devoted to caring for patients,” says Dr. Ryan.
