Long Island-based Peconic Bay Winery celebrates with a 'Good Cheer Sale' to lift spirits during nation's economic downturn.

(PRNewsChannel) / Cutchogue, N.Y. / To celebrate tremendous growth, Peconic Bay Winery, one of the North Fork of Long Island's most respected farm wineries and a consistent producer of award-winning, estate-grown wines, has begun a 'Good Cheer Sale' to brighten spirits during the holidays.
While supplies last, Peconic Bay is offering up to 30-percent off discounts on purchases of two cases or more of many of its bottle-aged wines.
"For those committed to making truly wonderful, value-oriented wine a staple of daily life, their ship has just come in," says Matthew Gillies, Peconic Bay's general manager.
Peconic Bay has seen tremendous growth over the past year particularly in its retail store. Sales nearly doubled--they're up 80-percent over last year.
During the Good Cheer Sale the winery has additional staff on hand on weekends to carry cases out to cars and process wines for shipment to 22 states.
"We’ve had a great year and recent enhancements here have made Peconic Bay Winery a small jewel of a destination to thousands from the tri-state area and beyond,” Mr. Gillies says. “Our guests applauded our efforts this year with terrific support and spirited patronage. We're all too happy to offer a bit of relief to existing fans and new customers, during the holiday season, as the year comes to a close.”
In addition, Long Island retailers will continue to benefit from the generous offerings rolled out over a year ago in the wholesale “direct from the winery" market.
Customers may make Good Cheer purchases online or over the phone. The winery will hold cases for pick up for 7 days and will prepare mixed cases of wines.
