Holiday Fun: Tic Tac Toe with Depth Hones Essential Silly Skills in Children
Kids can play Tic Tac Toe only so many times. But they can play Silly Stix over and over again because it’s a clever little game that encourages memory development and essential silly skills.

(PRNewsChannel) / Montreal, Quebec – How about a game of Tic Tac Toe with a twist?
Silly Stix is a fun game that also happens to sharpen memory skills. And the makers of this award-winning game believe it would make the perfect gift this Christmas season.
“It’s fun, it’s silly, but it’s far from brainless,” says Susan Hebblethwaite of Family Games, Inc. “And it’s totally unique and colorful.”
Here’s the idea: In turn, children 6 years or older drop their 9 brightly colored sticks of different lengths down 9 hollow blocks of different depths. Each stick is topped with a silly head.
“Will the sticks fall to the bottom of the block or stop somewhere in between is always the big question,” says Hebblethwaite. “The first player who manages to line up three level heads in a row wins the game. It’s fun for parents to watch and play along and kids love it.”
The blocks may be switched around for each new game the children play, encouraging memory development and basic silly skills.
Silly Stix recently won the 2007 Creative Child - SEAL OF EXCELLENCE AWARD from Creative Child Magazine.
