Aurora, Ill. – With the average bride spending $500 on wedding invitations, and many plunking down even more on exceptionally fancy invites, it pays to look for ways to save.

Embossed Graphics, which produces the Bel Amour Album, says brides generally want classy.  But standout invitations can cost $10 or more per invitation and they end up with bills upwards of $1,000 for just 100 invitations.

“Whether they’re spending their own money or their parents most brides have a budget,” says Kristi Burger from Embossed Graphics.  “But the good news is that it is possible to trim and not compromise elegance or quality.”

Embossed Graphics is a leader in printing high quality invitations for budget-conscious brides and grooms.  The company’s Bel Amour Album is one of the most sought after albums at retailers nationwide.

The company offers these wedding invitation savings suggestions for brides on a budget:

1. Order plain instead of lined inner invitation envelopes.  Liners add a touch of elegance and they look nice.  But nobody will miss them.
Savings: $83 (based on 100 invitations)
2. Eliminate reply and reception cards.  Instead, include RSVP, reception information on the invitation as footnotes.  This will save lots of money on printing and stamps.
Savings:  $162 (based on 100 invitations)
3. Go without a return address on informal notes that complement invitations.  These notes are informal anyway.  The return address is a nice touch, but not necessary.
Savings:  $44 (based on 100 invitations)

“You can save quite a bit of money by cutting a few corners,” says Burger.  “You can get quality and not break the bank.”
